2. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all orders, purchases, assignments and agreements between Bibeloty Gems & Treasures and the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Products and Services

Bibeloty Gems & Treasures provides, among other things:

• handmade jewelry

• custom made jewelry

• curated jewelry

• curated crystals, minerals and fossils

• other products as listed in the webshop

 

The exact content of a product or assignment is described on the product page, in the offer, or in the confirmation email.

4. Ordering and Payment

• All payments are made through the Bibeloty Gems & Treasures webshop.

• Remaining payments for custom made jewelry or curated items must also be completed through the webshop.

• Products will only be shipped or made available for pickup once full payment has been received.

• A deposit is required for special assignments. This deposit is paid by booking a consult through the webshop.

• Deposits are non‑refundable, even in case of cancellation by the customer, as these assignments involve custom work.

 

5. Right of Withdrawal and Returns (Consumers)

5.1 Standard Right of Withdrawal

• All standard products are subject to the statutory 14‑day right of withdrawal.

• The customer may cancel the order within 14 days of receipt without providing a reason, by submitting a return request via the button at the bottom of the webshop.

• After submitting the return request, the customer has an additional 14 days to return the item via registered mail.

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

• The customer bears the risk of return shipment until the package is received by Bibeloty Gems & Treasures.

 

5.2 Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• custom made jewelry

• jewelry curated on request

• crystals, minerals and fossils curated on request

• products customized or personalized at the customer’s request

 

These items are made or selected specifically for the customer and therefore cannot be returned.

6. Warranty

 

6.1 Warranty Period

• Jewelry is covered by a 2‑year warranty from the date of purchase, provided the damage does not fall under normal wear and tear.

 

6.2 Exclusions

The following types of damage are not covered by the warranty:

• normal wear and tear (such as scratches)

• breakage caused by impact, dropping or collisions

• damage caused by improper use

• damage caused by perfume, water, chemicals or cleaning agents

• discoloration caused by skin acidity, moisture or cosmetics

 

Warranty applies only in cases of normal use and proper care.

 

7. Shipping

• Custom made jewelry is always shipped with insurance.

• For all other products, the customer may choose between standard or insured shipping.

• If the customer chooses non‑insured shipping, the risk of loss or damage during transport lies entirely with the customer.

 

8. Liability

• Bibeloty Gems & Treasures is not liable for damage resulting from improper use of products.

• Liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order.

• Indirect damage, consequential damage or loss of profit will not be compensated.

 

9. Complaints

• Complaints must be submitted in writing via email within 14 days of discovery.

• Bibeloty Gems & Treasures will respond with a substantive reply within 14 days.

• If the complaint cannot be resolved, the customer may contact an independent dispute resolution body.

 

10. Data Processing

Bibeloty Gems & Treasures uses personal data solely for processing and shipping orders, handling payments, assignments, returns and customer communication. Data is only stored when the customer creates an account. Personal data is never used for marketing without explicit consent and is not shared with third parties except when necessary to fulfil the order.

11. Applicable Law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law.

Bibeloty Gems & Treasures fully disclaims all spiritual, energetic and esoteric meanings or effects attributed to crystals, minerals, fossils or jewelry. We do not provide spiritual or energetic advice and make no claims regarding healing, energetic or metaphysical properties. Our products are sold solely for their aesthetic, material and decorative qualities.
